Join us Dec. 1 as UNC Wilmington’s Early Music Consort performs at Tryon Palace. “Chamber Music by Candlelight” offers the unique and rare opportunity to enjoy the Council Chamber in the Governor’s Palace, gently lit by candles and decorated for the holidays, while listening to a variety of period pieces performed on Renaissance and Baroque instruments.
Join us after the performance at the Commission House for a reception with sparkling conversation, holiday cheer and a sneak peek at this year’s beautiful holiday decor. Sweet treats, wine and coffee will be served.
Palace doors will open at 6:30PM. Please enter the grounds through the gate located on Eden Street.
Online tickets will be available until Thursday, Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m. Tickets will be available for purchase on Friday, Dec. 1 at the North Carolina History Center until 4 p.m. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate before the event. Limited seating available.
