To celebrate #NCBeerMonth & Earth Day, New Village Brewery is teaming up with our good friends Jessica Mayo & Heather Cobham Brewer, and the fine folks at Inland Waterway Provision Company and WUZSUP.net & the Oriental Bean to organize an Earth Day Stand Up Paddle (SUP) outing.
Paddlers will meet at the Oriental Wildlife Boat Ramp (at the foot of the Oriental Bridge) between 1:30-1:45pm, and launch for a leisurely 1-2 hour paddle on Smith Creek. All experience levels are welcome.
Equipment is not provided, but paddlers may contact Pat at the Provision Co. to rent boards & paddles if needed.
Registration is $10 and includes experienced local guides, instruction as needed, and one brew of your choice after the paddle (beer or coffee courtesy of the Brewery or The Bean).
In honor of Earth Day, The New Village Brewery will donate $5 for every paddler who participates to Sound Rivers.
Please contact Jessica if you have questions at (252) 229-1198 or by email at email@example.com
