St. Paddy’s Day weekend, The New Village Brewery & Taproom will host a tap takeover by Weeping Radish Brewery (Grandy, NC). North Carolina’s oldest micro brewery, Weeping Radish was opened in July 1986, by Uli Bennewitz, a German immigrant. The beers are brewed based on the German Reinheitsgebot: all natural, unfiltered with no additives or chemicals. Some brews, like the Doppelbock, feature100% North Carolina-grown and malted ingredients. The brewery is located on a sprawling farm, with an on-site smoke house for sausages, bacon, ham and local blue fish. The restaurant features the beer, the meats and local vegetables, the theme is Farmer to Fork Reinheitsgebot Food – no chemicals, additives or preservatives. Come try their beers (& sausages!) in our Taproom on St. Paddy’s Day weekend!
The New Village Brewery & Taproom will open at noon (Thu-Sat) and will remain open until around 10pm, or while supplies last. Please RSVP for this event to receive updates about which brews we’ll have on tap and more.
